As part of our workshop series for women and FLINTA persons, we offer two Awareness Sessions on Saturday, June 21, led by Chaska Stern, Coach for Civil Courage and Awareness Work.*

SESSION 1 (11:00 – 13:30h):
Advanced Awareness Session for Cultural Multipliers

In this session, we offer an advanced awareness workshop for cultural actors who already have basic experience in the field of awareness. We will focus on:

– Strengthening awareness structures for events and groups,
– Recognizing risks early and taking proactive action,
– Acting de-escalating and safely in conflict situations,
– Applying simple self-defense techniques,
– Developing approaches to advance awareness practices in local networks.

The workshop will be conducted in German. If you need a translation, please let us know in advance.

SESSION 2 (14:00 – 16:00h) :
Awareness Workshop for Women and FLINTA Persons with Migration Background on Saturday, June 21, 2025 – 14:00-16:00

Together, we will explore how to:

– Recognize and deal with dangerous situations,
– Respond with courage and self-confidence (civil courage),
– Protect ourselves with simple self-defense techniques,
– Support each other and avoid isolation.

– The workshop will be conducted in simple language.

– Free childcare available (with registration)

Content comment
Experiences with discriminatory behaviour will be discussed – both from the perspective of those affected and those who practice it. The event requires the willingness and openness to deal with power dynamics and one’s own privileges. Affected persons are supported in finding a self-determined way of dealing with their experiences.
