Workshop series for committed women* with refugee experience

Women* and Gender-Diverse People with refugee experience in Buch and Karow actively volunteer in shelters, communities, and public spaces, fostering social and political participation. They translate in official settings, organize activities for children and adults, and mediate between people from diverse backgrounds.

This workshop series offers a space for participants to exchange ideas, reflect on their volunteer work, and collaborate on future actions. It also includes the co-design of events and artistic interventions in the public spaces of MESTIZX.

Originally developed in 2023 as part of the MEHR-SPRACH-ICH project, it continued in 2024 under the TOUR 2024 framework.
