TEXT TEIL MAPPING is an artistic research initiative carried out in 2022 and 2023 in the Berlin district of Pankow. This exploration is based on the method of collective mapping, which we understand in this context as a reflection on the use of our city from an intersectional and decolonial perspective. We use artistic approaches in order to create new maps of the city as defined by its inhabitants. In doing so, we connect diverse perspectives and weave together themes of migration, memory, loss, multilingualism, and feminism. Collective mapping is thus used as a method to develop new (re)presentations. Additionally, we continue the MAPPING LAB workshops.
