MEHR SPRACH ICH is creating a new map of Berlin Pankow from a new perspective.
On Saturday, September 16th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Panke-Platz, the entire community is invited to participate in free cultural activities. These include a mobile screen printing workshop, a sound installation featuring stories from residents of the neighborhood (Audiotheka Raum), and a stage program with multilingual artists.
The art collective MESTIZX in cooperation with Mamis en Movimiento/BuKa, BENN Buch and the Pankow Library proudly present the project MEHR SPRACH ICH. This event celebrates the diversity of the neighbourhood and connects old and new neighbours.
Mobile Screen Printing
A pop-up workshop for all age groups (no prior experience required). Just bring clothing items you want to print on!
Audiotheka Raum
A sound installation developed in collaboration with neighbors from Buch and Karow. Enter the inflatable room and listen to impressions from the neighborhood, narrated by the residents.
Bicycle Stage
On the bicycle stage of the Pankow district libraries, we present a stage program by local artists in different languages. Are you an artist and would like to participate in our events? Find information on our website and social media about our current open calls!
