Performative intervention on 19.09.23 in Berlin-Buch. Migrants, especially women, often face discrimination, verbal abuse, and even physical violence in public spaces. In light of the tense atmosphere in some Berlin neighborhoods, we ask: How can cultural events be organized safely in public spaces?

This video documents the intervention carried out during the Day of Civil Courage. The initiative was implemented in collaboration with the Buch and Karow network (BuKa, Chaska Stern, BENN Buch, Der Würfel, Grünen Buch) and with the support of Fach- und Netzwerkstelle gegen Rechtsextremismus, für Demokratie und Vielfalt [moskito].
