“Self-Defence. No Offence.” is a hands-on workshop in two parts that explores both physical and performative strategies of self-defence. The workshop is designed for women who want to connect with their own strength, feel safer, and explore tools to navigate different situations with more confidence.
In the first part, trainer Sharon Kluth (Lowkick e.V., martial arts club) will guide participants through simple physical techniques. Her approach focuses on combining physical strength with joy in movement and inner stability.
In the second part, theatre makers Natasha Borenko and Lidiia Golovanova will introduce playful role-play scenarios. Together, participants will explore creative responses and collective solutions — because performative skills can also be powerful tools in moments of confrontation or discomfort.
Together, both sessions offer an empowering space to build confidence, awareness, and a deeper sense of agency.
Participation is free of charge.
The workshop is open to all women. No previous experience is required.

Content comment
Experiences with discriminatory behaviour will be discussed – both from the perspective of those affected and those who practice it. The event requires the willingness and openness to deal with power dynamics and one’s own privileges. Affected persons are supported in finding a self-determined way of dealing with their experiences.
